We are happy to announce the alliance of two like-minded, similar-culture companies with a singular shared passion for increasing babywearing.  Both Ergobaby and Baby Tula believe that together we are better equipped to spread the message of babywearing to a broader audience, with a greater variety of options for parents and their families.

As of May 11, 2016, Ergobaby has acquired Baby Tula: two brands, sharing one mission.

The Ergobaby and Baby Tula mission can be summed up in four words:  "Wear all the babies!" Babywearing is a wonderful choice not only for convenience, but to bond with baby and reap the benefits of babywearing for both baby and parent.  We truly believe that happy babies are worn babies, and happy babies mean happy parents.

Both of our brands share admiration for the advances the other has made in product innovation and design, while maintaining a watchful eye on safety, ergonomics, convenience, and lifestyle. The more we discussed our commonalities, the more we learned how many parents who own Ergobaby carriers also own Baby Tula carriers, and have found a need for both in their parenting toolkit.  This alliance expands our collective ability to produce even more great products and carry options to support our belief (and the solid research) that babywearing results in significant benefits to a baby's development, both physically and emotionally.

The study and business of babywearing is continually evolving, but even with this transition, rest assured that both Baby Tula and Ergobaby will continue to design and manufacture their products under their current brand names, from our respective headquarters, with all of our same staff. This alliance will not affect the day-to-day operations of either brand, so you can expect the same quality, design, attention to detail, and community support and involvement from both Ergobaby and Baby Tula.

Both brands create carriers around the idea that more choices will equal more babywearers and happy, healthy babies.

Better together: Two companies.  One mission. Wear all the babies.
