Can I breastfeed in a Ring Sling?

Yes! If you are breastfeeding in a Baby Tula Ring Sling, we recommend gently lifting and supporting your baby’s weight with one arm while lifting the top ring to loosen slightly with the other hand.
Can I leave my Ring Sling threaded between uses?

Yes. It is fine to leave your ring sling threaded between uses, as long as you are actively using it on a regular basis.
How do I wash or clean my Baby Tula Ring Sling?

We recommend washing your Baby Tula Ring Sling before use. 

Machine wash when necessary in cold water, on a delicate cycle, with mild detergent.

Tumble low or hang dry. Spot clean your ring sling as needed with a soft cloth, soap, and warm water.

We recommend steam ironing your wraps to help with softening and prevent creasing.

How should my baby be sitting in my Ring Sling?

Depending on the baby's age and development, their placement in the sling will look different.

Generally, we would recommend wearing your baby in a deep squat with knees above bottom, and with the baby's weight resting in the hammock of the sling.

Keep in mind that red lines on baby's legs don't always mean that baby is uncomfortable - they can be similar to the marks left on your ankles by your socks, or marks on your face left by a pillow.

That said, pay close attention to ensuring that baby has adequate circulation, an open airway, and is always visible and kissable.
Which size Ring Sling should I get?

Baby Tula Ring Slings are available in two sizes, "Standard Length" (~77") and "Long Length" (~87"). Ring Slings are measured lengthwise from the gathered fabric on the ring to the tail end of the fabric.

The Standard Length will leave a shorter tail (the fabric hanging down from the rings once baby is in the sling) than the Long Length. The fit of Baby Tula Signature Ring Slings is very versatile, and both
sizes will fit most wearers.
