What is a Tula Coast Carrier?

Tula Coast Mesh Baby Carriers

Baby Tula's line of breathable mesh baby carriers are designed to bring the feel of a cool ocean breeze to your daily adventures. Tula Coast Carriers are a reinterpretation of our original framed panel design into a ventilated carrier perfectly suited for active lifestyles and warm weather locales. Each Coast Carrier is made with a high-quality mesh center panel and a detachable mesh hood. They are available in our Explore, Free-To-Grow, Standard, and Toddler Carrier styles.

The name of the Tula Coast Carrier was partially inspired by the location of our headquarters in Southern California. Our many sun-filled warm days, in San Diego, are perfect for active lifestyles. We often find ourselves playing by the ocean, hiking with our families, and soaking in our beautiful coastal city.

The smooth mesh material used for Tula Coast Carriers allows for the optimal flow of air to help you and your baby stay cool in warmer weather and active adventures. The center panel and detachable hood of the Tula Coast Carrier are made with colorful mesh that stylishly coordinates with a variety of Tula prints.

The soft and lightweight 100% cotton (certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®) on the rest of the carrier also provides a non-bulky feel while still providing excellent support to keep you comfortable as you carry your baby.

Three years after introducing our Coast collection, we are delighted to add our first Tula Coast Carrier that offers the facing out carrying position. Many families have been hoping to have this breathable mesh option since our introduction of the Explore Carrier. This will give you the most versatility while keeping your baby cool! Check out our ‘best baby carrier option for you’ comparison chart on our website. And shop our first Coast Explore Carriers on Tuesday, February 26th.
