So comfy

"I love this carrier. It's so comfy. I love the simplicity and that my back feels supported. It's simple and perfect."

Danielle N. (5/5)

Been waiting to get my hands on one!

"Waited a while to get my hands on a Tula and instantly regretted not getting one sooner! So easy to wear and the cotton’s so comfy."

Afiqa R. (5/5)

I like this carrier!

"I enjoy this carrier. It feels secure and sturdy. I prefer it over my previous Lillie brand ergo carriers. One negative is I find the straps difficult to adjust when the carrier is on and sometimes they loosen during wear."

Hope S. (4/5)

So easy!

"Coming from a unstructured wrap carrier with various bits and bobs to the baby tula was smooth! The difference is night and day. The baby tula was so much easier to manage on and off and baby took to it instantly! Also, we walked around the stores today and my back was no way as tired as it would get with my previous carrier! Would highly recommend the investment, definitely worth it!"

Angela T. (5/5)

This is the one!

"I was hesitant at first, but after wearing it a few times, I really enjoy it. I feel my child is secure and it’s well made. I have no doubt it will last for a long time."

Mallory G. (5/5)

brilliant product

"I'm very happy with my purchase. My son loves being in the Tula. The carrier is made of high quality. I highly recommend it!"

Piotr S. (5/5)

Baby and Dad love this

"Baby is 6 weeks old and loves napping in this carrier. It is comfortable and easy to adjust and put on. Looking forward to using this carrier for months/years."

Devra A. (5/5)

Hope my LO will eventually like as much as I do. . .

"This is a very nice carrier that I find comfortable, despite some concerns I had -- cesarean recovery, short torso, petite -- but my LO hates it. I'm going to keep it and keep trying, fingers crossed! If it never wins him over. . . well it won't be the only baby purchase that was a waste of a lot of $"

Taylor S. (3/5)

Lifesaver for naps and free hands

"Baby loves this carrier, she will snooze off very quickly. The detachable hood comes in very handy to keep sun out of her eyes and create a darker environment. It was a feature I didn’t know I needed in a baby carrier"

Khanh T. (5/5)

Love it

"Love this Tula, soft and cosy and the usual great Tula quality, I receive a lot of lovely comments on this Tula also"

Q&A

Does this come with a hood or is the hood sold separately?
Yes, all of our carriers come with a sleep/sun hood. This includes the Free to Grow carrier.
Can this be worn with the child on your back or is this only meant for the child to be seated in front of you?
The Free to Grow carrier can be worn with your little one on your front (facing inward) and on your back.
How do I buy the extender?
Our Waist Extender can be purchased here: https://babytula.com/products/waist-belt-extender
Does the free to grow in fact allow for forward-facing front carrying? I thought I read so, but want to double check because all of the photos show baby stomach to stomach with the person carrying them.
The Free-to-Grow carrier allows for your little one to be worn on both your front and your back; while facing inward. This carrier is not designed to be worn with your baby in an outward-facing position. The Tula Explore carrier is the _only_ Tula carrier that is designed to be used with an outward-facing carry position.
Sorry for my ignorance but am I correct in thinking you don’t need a newborn insert for this Tula? Been 6+ years since I last used a Tula - tia!
Correct. :) The Free-to-Grow is newborn-ready and can be used from 7 - 45 pounds _without_ the need for an infant insert.
